Change Settings While Adding Memory
There is no requirement of updating settings if you have enhanced your memory, as the computer can automatically adopt the updates.There can be many reasons due to which you need to increase memory.Some of them are -
- May be your requirement of volatile or non-volatile storage has been increased.RAM is volatile storage while hard disk is non-volatile storage.
- May be the people running any organisation feeling the need to install additional storage.
- Switching to heavier operating system platform also leads to setting up of additional RAM.
- If you were running two opertaing systems on your desktop or laptop, then enhancing a system memory is mandatory.
In all the above cases, memory settings will be taken into effect by the system itself. No manual updations need to be done.
