Getting Spam Emails Which Is Not Addressed To My Email Address
Spammers now a days using various techniques to send spam emails and some how they nearly getting success with it. if the email has been read by the mail recipients. what is what they want spammer just want that recipient read the content of email which they have sent on email.
In the lot of techniques used by spammers there is a technique which is used to confuse email reader that how this email can come to my email address where the email address in the “To:” field is different then my email address. Occasionally email reader think that let read this email may be is there something important is written to the email and I can forward the email to the correct destination. That is where the goal of email sender who is spammer has been achieved Because reader have done the same thing which spammer want from email reader.
Now when email recipient read the particular email it might be possible that reader of email perform some task against the email like pressing any button which is on email or clicking of any link which is
in email. When reader do this task all the information related to the email address will be sent to the spammer and then in result the particular email address will get more and more spam emails.
This the possibility which can be happen if you read any email which not addressed to you.
Now we will take a look how the particular email which doesn’t have your email address in the email recipient field “To:” but still arrived on your email address.
There are mainly three types of fields with which you can send email to other recipients.
- Send email with To:” field This field used to send email to one or more then one contact. This the field which is visible to the email recipient when recipients read the email. At the recipient’s address “To:” of email contain the email address which the specific this field have.
- Send email with “Cc:” field You can send email with cc field to the maximum number of email recipients which allowed by the email provider.
- Send email with “Bcc:” field You can send email with the bcc field to the maximum number of email recipients which your email provider support.
There is only one major different in “cc:” and “bcc:” field of sending email, If you insert email address of email recipient to the “cc:” field then all the recipients can view the email address at which the email sender sending particular emails. But on the other hand if you send email with “bcc:” field then only the email address which is filled in “To:” field of email can be visibe to the email recipients. No email address can be view by email recipients at the recipient’s end if you insert it on the “bcc:” field.
Spammer also used this technique to send email so no email recipient can view the number of email address at which spammer sending emails. More even when recipients which were of “bcc:” field view the email they didn’t see there email address in “To:” field so they thought that how could this email came to my email address where email not been addressed to my email address.
