Conclusion On Multiple Email - If you are getting more than one email or multiple copies of a particular email, then this is the problem of recipient’s side. But here i am giving some points about sender and recipient both side that how they can get two or mulitiple copies of an email.

When i send email to some recipients then it make more then one copy of my email to their email address, First time i didn’t believe this but when i send email to myself on another email address i also have multiple copies of a particular email. I didn’t understand is it the problem on sender side or is it a problem on recipient’s side.

You can get solution by using this method wheather it is the problem on your side or recipient’s side. Send an email to the email address and ask the recipient that only your email having a multiple copy of mail or every email which he or she receive been copied automatically on their email address.

If just your email having multiple copies then surely the problem is on sender side but if every email on recipient’s side having more than one copy then problem is on the recipient side.

See i can assure you if you are using your email account from any good email provider like gmail. windows live hotmail, or yahoo mail. Then it is near to impossible that the specific problem is going on from your side. It must be the problem on recipient’s side except your didn’t double clicked on the “SEND” button of your email.

If you are using any email client like thunderbird or outlook then it is possible that the problem is arise on your side. Suppose you are sending an email which is very large 1MB to 15MB then what happen on your side is this when you send an email from email client first the message will go to the specific email provider server then that mail server uploaded the message in to their mail server and then send it to the recipient. But it can be happen that the email is very large and because of this recipient’s mail server need some time to download it. And at the time when it is downloaded by recipient’s mail server sender mail server may be send it again because it didn’t get any acknowledgement that the recipient’s mail server received an email that can cause multiple copies on the recipients side.

Because you didn’t get any error message that the “email sending is failed” or “Same email sending more than one time” then surely it is not the problem on your side.

If they are any email client such as thunderbird or outlook and a dial up connection then this problem of multiple copies of email can be occur by the recipient’s side only. If the email message which have to received by email client is very large then it is possible that email client need some time to download it at the time when message id downloading at the recipient’s side mail server didn’t get an acknowledgement about the mail is received or not it send the message to email client again and the email client download this message again so it will make multiple copies of a particular email message.

That is how you will get multiple copies of email message on your email account.
