Conclusion On Inline Image - I have some pictures in my email which sent by my friend but sometimes they show in line and sometimes they show as attachments what i can do about this. And why this happend on my mail account.

I got lots and lots of pictures in my email which sometimes show up as attachments and same picture sometimes show up as in line in my body of the message on email. This behaviour of my email make me a bit tensed because when i require this picture to show like in line it shows up like attachment and vice versa.

As far as i concern that problem become wide as email provider having lots of email account so there are some other aspects also which can cause you this situation, Here i am trying to highlight some of them.

You are viewing your same picture as attachments sometimes and agains when you open your email account you will se the picture as in line in the body of the message. Here are some aspect which is responsible for this situation.

• Format of the email message
• Specific email provider or program
• Security settings for your email

Those are three aspects of email which can cause you the problem of viewing pictures as in line and as well as attachments. Really it totally depends on your email provider what type of facility they are providing you.

Lets think about those aspects one by one. Here first we begin with the “Format of the email message”.

Format of the email message

This is one of the major reason which is responsible for getting picture as an attachments or as an in line part of message body. There are mainlly three types of message format with which you can send an email.

• Plain format email
• Html format email
• Rich Format Email

With Plain format email you can send picture only as attachments there is no way that if the email is a plain format you will get picture in your email as an in line.

But With html and as well as with rich format text it totally depends how your email provider behave with pictures which you got in your email. If your email provider soesn’t support attachments or some specific file types in attachments then you will see the specific picture in line in the message body. No matter if the email which sent with attachments.

Specific email provider or program

Some of the email provider gives you the facility to view your email attachments just below the message body and it will look like the picture is in line with the message part.

This behaviour of the email make some user think that the attached picture has been show in the in line message.

Some of the email provider show the in line picture as an attachments and some show the picture attachments as the in line part of the message body. The behaviour of the email program varies on different email program.

Security settings for your email

Because now a days email account are very much secure then different email providers have different approach to view the email, Some email provider gives you the facility to block all the links, Images, and other files which result you the in line picture will show as an attachments which you have to view via selecting the link which said “Display all Images”.

It totally depend on you how you want to set up the security of the email you can set up the option which can help you to see your all pictures in line message or you can set up for the picture show up as an attachments.
