There is a dispute about how email format work when a one email sent to recipient with rich text format but the recipient’s email provider not sipport the rich format then what will happen, As far as i can understand on the time of that email provider open the specific email on email provider’s default email format it can be plain text format ir it can be html email format. It totally depends on the email provider on which format they want to show the email.

Obviously you can’t send or receive a picture or any document in plain text format and suppose email provider open this rich text email in the plain text email format then there only one possibility where you can see the picture if the picture has been sent on attachments.

How emailed pictures or images saved on the location

As we know that if there is something then only you can view something. Same happend with pictures or images also, To show up the picture it is necessary that they have to saved some where on the email sender’s mail provider’s server. Actually when email sender put an picture in to the message body of the email then the reference of the location where the picture has been saved will be inserted on message body. And when you received the specific email at that time if the picture location reference is correct than only you can view the images or pictures else it will not show up.

There are various reasons because the pictures can’t show up some of them are easy to understand.

• The first reason and the most common reason is The reference location of the picture is not correct.
• Images or pictures have been remove from the specific location.
• Email account from which the picture has been sent deleted by the owner of the email address.

Email Display settings

There are some security concern about the pictures or images sent by email to the recipients. As if you are using outlook 2003 or outlook 2007 then it is quite difficult for beginners to show up the pictures or images in the email account. In outlook in place of the pictures or images you will see the red cross sign. And for show up the picture you need to right click on the specific cross and then have to go to the specific reference location of the picture. One more solution is this you can add this email contact from which you have got an email with pictures.

If you are using web based email service which support html email format on this type of email it depend on your browser that which pictures type has it can show up and which it can’t show up. In the browser the emailed picture first downloaded on the temporary folder and then show in the browser window.
