How can I connect monitor with my laptop and work with it

Yes it seems to be hard to connect the monitor with the laptop but it is easy and require some patience to have done. You need to give a key stroke only to have the stratgy work.

You first need to find out that keystroke in your laptop. This might vary laptop to laptop and consist to press any key of the keyboard in order to assist the LCD/CRT keystroke. It generally works like control key or shift key. For ex. suppose it is F4 so you need to provide the keystroke of + CRT or LCD to active the external monitor.

Secondly, pressing the key in repeating manner will allow you to cycle through various combinations. Each time you press the key, you will get an other combination. The combinatios might be as follows-

  • CRT screen on and LCD screen off.
  • LCD screen on and CRT screen off
  • LCD and CRT both on displaying same things in the screen.
  • LCD and CRT both on displaying different things in the screen.

Your list of this kind of configurations may change according to the laptop or the order of this combination may be different. As you type the keystroke, the configuration changes for the next one to the list. But it might take the time of 5 seconds or 10 to work. So you need to keep patience to decide whether it is working or not.

I agree to say that yes it is really frustating when the process need 5-10 second of long time for accessment but it also depends on how your laptop is taking the monitor and how the external monitor behaving with the laptop.
