The quality of monitor does also matter for the case of ‘image burning’. So perhaps your LCD monitor also need a changing nature of image. But before subjecting your screen for screensaver you should keep following points in your mind-
- using a blank scrrensaver will make your monitor black and will be useful to save some amount of energy. This will worth you some more in case you are using laptop.
- If this happens often that you are not around your computer for sometime or more you should have the facility of password to go out from your screensaver. This will help you to keep your computer secure.
- Your screensaver should be smart enough to turn the monitor off automatically if you are away from your computer for a long time. This will save much of energy.
I always like to use a blank screensaver for my laptop. This offers me to save energy power of my laptop and it can assist me for a longtime without charging the laptop. Now I just suggest you that using screensaver for the monitor screen (regardless to the screen type) is actually a profitable deal which have no reason to avoid.
