Conclusion On Dvorak - Dvorak is an efficient optional layout for keyboard while many situations can rise up the problem of sudden change in keyboard’s layout.
I recently installed sp2 in my windows xp and did not get any problem in and after installing it but now I now I have noticed that the layout of my keyboard changed automatically. I did not configure any other layout and I was working satisfactorily in querty layout but now I am unable to get the printed alphabets as my operations. Whatever I type it does not appear in the screen but some other alphabets appear there. For example, 'y' for 't' etc. What should I do to have my proper layout back to my keyboard?
The problem you are facing for your keyboard may be caused by certain conditions. First you need to check your settings and language etc. for your keyboard. You should check in 'control panel' about the details of your keyboard. Otherwise the conditions indicate that Dvorak layout has been set for your keyboard anyhow.
Generally when we work on our keyboard which is conventionally preferring 'querty' layout for work. There is an optional layout in keyboard to work on which has the property to type different words and elements dissimilar to the 'querty'. It is comparatively faster and proficient for slow typists and general workers. It effects the speed of typing positively for increase while 'querty' layout of keyboard works for decreasing the speed of fast typists which typed on typewriters in old time.
It is impossible for windows to load the driver for Dvorak itself. It really need to undergo a critical process to load the driver for Dvorak setting. Firstly you need to load the driver, thereafter you will get an option in notification area of the taskbar of your keyboard.
You will also need to decide whether you want to set both of that layout at a time or like to use either of them particular ly. But after you load the driver of dvorak layout you will be able to use it anytime by setting it as your keyboard’s layout.
I am interested for the use of dvorak layout but avoid it normally because I get confused often for the use of keys for alphabets as I usually work on querty layout.
